More strikes and walkouts are planned for Black Friday later this week at Wal-Mart’s nationally.
Wal-Mart is now facing rare legal action by the NLRB for dismissing strikers after previous job actions of this type, reducing their ability to retaliate. This should cause the job actions to mushroom as workers take advantage of what protections they are still offered under labor laws that date to a time when corporate power was weaker than now,

Locally there will be several actions. A contingent will meet a 7:30AM at the UFCW’s landover office and presumbly travel to multiple Wal-Marts like they did last year:

In addition, there will be prayer vigils at the Wal-Mart stores in Alexandria, Virginia, one at 10 AM, then a second at 10:45AM.

This group will mee in the parking lot of the Mcdonalds next to Walmart Store #2258, 7910 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA. After the first vigil they will drive to the Wal-Mart at 5885 Kingstowne Boulevard for a second prayer vigil.
