On the 19th of July, hundreds of people marched from 14th and Irving streets (by the Metro) to the White House in a silent march for Trayvon Martin.

This was the #HUSHDC march, hundreds strong. It started at the Columbia Heights Metro, and there was an ugly sidenote there: Security guards actively sought to prevent protesters from using restrooms at businesses like the Potbelly Sandwich shop. Once the march hit the streets, that BS was left behind.

The march went down 14th st to Euclid st, then crossed through Malcolm X Park to 16th st and down to the White House.
