Neiman-Carcass gets Jan 6 fur protest

On the 6th of January, animal rights activists protested the sale of fur and fur trimmed garments by Neiman-Marcus, widely called “Neiman-Carcass” by animal activists. There was even a legal case where Neiman-Marcus tried and failed to shut down a website calling them Neiman Carcass.

At the Jan 6 protest in DC, activists flanked the doorway on both sides with graphic signs condemning the fur trade. One activist displayed Walt Rave’s famous fox in a trap, while another carried a video monitor playing a DVD of among other things an animal being skinned alive and stepped on by a fur producer. From that video we know where Neiman-Marcus stands on fur.
