Critical Mass goes to Georgetown on 104 degree day

The 29th of June was the hottest day of 2012 to date, with a recorded temperature of 104 degrees f at the airport. This after the warmest Spring ever recorded in DC.

The Critical Mass bicycle ride took to the streets anyway, a reminder that without suburban sprawl, the resulting car dependancy, and without all that coal burning, maybe it wouldn’t be so hot in the first place!

The first place the ride went was Georgetown, where as usual, the bikes were often faster than the cars.
