Wells Fargo Bank confronted at Pride over GLBT prisoners in private prisons

On the 10th of June, activists dressed as pirates confronted Wells Fargo’s installation at the Pride Festival. They demanded freedom for CeCe Donalds, a Trans woman held in a private prison funded by Wells Fargo.

he DC action created a spectacle before a dense crowd at an event drawing hundreds of thousands, but this is not the hardest Wells Fargo has been hit for this.

There is also a report, (mentioned in the interview) that Wells Fargo in Seattle got an incendiary device thrown through their window over the exact same issue: Trans prisoners held in private prisons funded by the GEO Group.

The real issue is this: Will Pride organizers continue to allow Wells Fargo, responsible for locking up GLBT folks, to have a presence at Pride?
