Protesters in biohazard suits demand Michael Tayor, former Monsanto exec, resign from FDA

On the 19th of April, FDA deputy commissioner for foods Michael Taylor was Keynote speaker at a Food Safety Town Hall at the Washington Convention Center. Due to his past at Monsanto, protesters in biohazard suits showed up outside demanding his resignation from the FDA.

Michael Taylor was instrumental in ramming through the FDA’s approval of rBST, the Monsanto dairy hormone. Since approval this chemical has been linkedto pus in milk-and to human cancer. It is also a suspect in causing early puberty in girls as young as age 7.
